1. Minnesota Timberwolves: Kyrie Irving, PG, Duke
2011 NBA Mock Draft #1 Point Guard
In this 2011 NBA Mock Draft I have the Timberwolves selecting a playmaker at the Point Guard position. He is still very young and small but I think that he has the ability to step up and be one of the elite Point Guards in the NBA and the top player in this 2011 NBA Mock Draft.
2. Cleveland Cavaliers: Derrick Williams, F, Arizona
2011 NBA Mock Draft #1 Forward
The Cavaliers need to get a playmaker to try and help them stop thinking about Lebron James. I don’t believe that the player to do so will be in this 2011 NBA Draft but I think the best option to try and forget is Derrick Williams. Williams is a very good player who needs to develop his shot but he is the top rated Forward in my 2011 NBA Mock Draft. I believe that the Cavs have to go after a top tier player and athlete like Derrick Williams in this 2011 NBA Mock Draft
3. Toronto Raptors: Harrison Barnes, SF, North Carolina
2011 NBA Mock Draft #1 Small Forward
The Raptors are not a very good team and they need to improve their scoring. Harrison Barnes is my top rated Small Forward in this 2011 NBA Mock Draft. He probably could have used another year in North Carolina but he can do it all. I think he is worth a top 5 pick in this 2011 NBA Mock Draft so I have the Raptors snagging him with all of his upside.
4. Washington Wizards: Jared Sullinger, PF, Ohio State
2011 NBA Mock Draft #2 Forward
The Wizards need an all around good big man. I think that Sullinger is that player in this 2011 NBA Mock Draft. The Wizards have a couple of options with this pick but I think that Sullinger is the best choice because I believe he has a lot of upside in the NBA level.
5. Sacramento Kings: Quincy Miller, F, Baylor
2011 NBA Mock Draft #3 Forward
The Kings could go with a Forward or a Point Guard with this pick. I think that Kemba Walker is going to be better at the next level than a lot of people think. So I think that if Kemba Walker is the 5th overall selection in the 2011 NBA Mock Draft I would not be surprised because he can take over. In this day and age watching Rondon, Chris Paul and other point guards take over games I think it is all said and done the most important position on the NBA Court. So that being said I have the Kings taking a very good forward out of Baylor to help their inside game in the 2011 NBA Season.
